The Paper Inloader has not been sold so far to any North American companies.
The total number of new trailers sold of this type quite small because this industry has not really implemented this system into their logistics yet. Stora Enso is currently using the Paper Inloader. We are talking about a future market because the size of the printing and processing machines has increased making the paper rolls larger.
To date, 15 trailers are used so far.
We suspect that the main reason why other producing companies do not use this system exclusively is that they simply do not know that this system is available.
The basic concept with its advantages is the same as the Flatliner or Floatliner:
Ø Basic requirements are that big paper rolls need to be stocked in vertical position!
Ø Self loading and unloading trailers no staff in dispatching area required
Ø Vertical loading and transporting assures damage-free arrival at the destination
Ø Risk of horizontal transportation: unbalanced paper rolls (=risk of damage in processing machines)
Ø On-site handling tools can be simpler (e.g. forklifts with special turning devices would not be required)
Ø In total this system provides a risk-free supply chain in this industry
